Since the last update, we’ve made huge improvements to several behind the scenes systems that will make Lumify feel even more zippy than it has always been! But – we’re not here to nerd out – we’re here to to talk about new features that improve your experience (and your clients’)!
Introducing Automations V2
Lumify has an upgraded automations builder! This major upgrade brings several important improvements to your experience building and testing automations. Here’s some highlights of Automations V2:
- You’ll get immediate feedback while testing automations
- See a history of all previous automation runs
- More drop-down hints for fields that make it easier to build conditions
- Strictly typed inputs that allow for flexible chaining of actions (e.g. automatically update an event, then send an email to the client)
- More robust error checking (and more helpful error messages)
These improvements take automations to the next level!
Saved Payment Method (Square Integration)
Our Square payments integration got a huge facelift! It now matches the existing Stripe integration payment flow, which enables your clients to save their credit cards for easier payments later! The use case for this is simple: Clients make a deposit payment with their credit card, and prior to their event they can make their full payment using the same card without having the re-enter their payment details.
Replace Task Workflow
Our Task Workflow feature is already unique for DJ and event planner software – but today it’s getting better!! We’ve added the ability to quickly swap workflows without affecting already completed tasks. This feature enables your business to be nimble and swap out workflows as the needs of your clients change.
Other Notable Features
- Added a “send forgot password” link to the contacts page
- Added contact phone number to search results
- Fixed a bug in the task workflows that left some task deadlines empty if there were no invoices on an event
- Fixed a bug in default event timelines when no time “offset” was provided
- Fixed validation errors across the platform
- Improved mobile experience
- Miscellaneous other optimizations and bug fixes
