This Privacy Notice describes Lumify Lab’s (also referred to as “we” or “our”) practices on collection, processing, and disclosure of your information when you visit our website or use our application (collectively referred to as “Services”). Personal Information

Retention of your personal information

Lumify Labs will retain your personal information only for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice. We will retain and use your personal information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable law), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Lumify Labs will also retain some data for analytics purposes. This data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of the Services. When possible, data retained for analytics purposes will be anonymized or de-identified.

Disclosure of your personal information

Service providers

Lumify Labs may engage service providers to process your personal information on our behalf. In which case, we may disclose certain personal information strictly limited to that business purpose. Examples of this processing may include:

  • Payment processing
  • Analytics and performance monitoring
  • Content delivery

Any such service providers are contractually prohibited from further disclosing, sharing, or selling your personal information. Service providers will not retain, use or disclose the personal information for any purpose other than performing a stated business purpose.

Business transactions

If Lumify Labs is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your personal information may be transferred to a successor entity. We will provide you with notice before your personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Notice.

Other legal requirements

We may disclose your personal information in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

  • Comply with a lawful court order or other legal obligation

Security of your personal information

We take our responsibility to protect your information seriously. Accordingly, we implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk of unlawful disclosure. This includes physical, technical, and procedural safeguards that comply with applicable legal standards and industry best practices to secure your information from unauthorized access and use, alteration, and destruction.

In addition, we genuinely value the assistance of security researchers and any others in the security community to assist in keeping our systems secure. The responsible disclosure of security vulnerabilities helps us ensure the security and privacy of all our users. Immediately contact security@lumifylabs.com, if you have found any potential vulnerability in the Services.

  • You can expect an acknowledgment from our security team in about 24 hours of submission.
  • We will define the severity of the issue based on the impact and the ease of exploitation.
  • We may take 3 to 5 days to validate the reported issue.
  • Actions will be initiated to fix the vulnerability in accordance with our commitment to security and privacy.
  • When conducting security testing, should not violate our privacy policies, modify/delete unauthenticated user data, disrupt production servers, or to degrade user experience.
  • Documenting or publishing the vulnerability details in public domain is against our responsible disclosure policy.
  • Keep information about any vulnerability confidential until the issue is resolved

Children’s Privacy

No part of the Services is directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

If we become aware that we have collected personal information from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our systems.

The Services may contain links to other websites that are not operated by Lumify Labs. If you click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Notice of every site you visit.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party sites or services.

We may update our Privacy Notice from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating this page with the new Privacy Notice. You are advised to review this Privacy Notice periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Notice are effective on the day they are posted to this page.
